What people usually ask.
What is a resume website, and how is it different from a PDF resume?
It's your CV turned into a web page at your own address (yourname.destaca.page). It opens from a link on any phone with nothing to download, tells your achievements instead of listing duties, and can be in both English and Spanish. Your PDF still works for the forms that ask for one.
How do I turn my resume into a link I can share?
Upload your CV, check your details and publish your page: your link is yourname.destaca.page. Paste it in the “website” or “portfolio” field of applications, in messages to recruiters, in LinkedIn Featured and contact info, and in your email signature.
Do I need design or web skills?
No. You upload your CV, check your details and pick a design. We write the copy and build the page.
Is it really free?
Creating and previewing your full page is free and needs no card. You only pay if you decide to publish it at yourname.destaca.page.
Can I use my LinkedIn profile?
Yes: on linkedin.com, from a computer, open your profile and click “Resources” → “Save to PDF”. Upload that PDF as your CV. Any CV or resume in PDF or Word works.
Will you exaggerate or make anything up?
No. Everything comes from your CV and what you confirm in the review: if it isn't true, it isn't there. Anything we draft for you is marked so you can check it, and you can edit any text before publishing.
Is it in Spanish too?
The site and your page work in Spanish and English. Your page can have both languages, with a switch for visitors.
What's the difference between the Pass and Yearly?
Only the time: the Pass lasts 90 days, about as long as a job search; Yearly lasts 12 months. Both are paid once, with no automatic renewal, and while they last your page has no “Made with Destaca” footer.
What happens after the 90 days?
Your page stays online, now with a small “Made with Destaca” link in the footer. To keep it without one there's the Yearly plan; for your next job search, a new Pass.
Can I change the text after publishing?
Yes. During the Pass you can edit, switch designs and republish as often as you like.
Is my CV safe?
It's stored privately, used only to create your page and deleted after 30 days. We don't share it with anyone.
