Terms and conditions
Last updated: 3 October 2026
These are the rules between you and Destaca. We wrote them to be understood. By creating an account or buying, you accept them.
1. Who provides the service
Destaca (destaca.page) is a service of Vhanessa Murillo, Kaminner Str. 27, 10589 Berlin, Germany (“Destaca” or “we”). Contact: hola@destaca.page.
These terms apply to all use of destaca.page, app.destaca.page and the pages published at yourname.destaca.page.
2. What Destaca is
Destaca turns your CV into a personal web page. You upload your CV as a PDF or Word file, review the details we get from it, answer a few questions and pick a design. We write the copy with the help of AI and build the page.
Creating your page and seeing it in full is free, up to 3 copy generations. To publish it at yourname.destaca.page you need a Pass or the Yearly plan.
3. Your account
To use Destaca you need an account with an email address that's yours. You must be at least 16, and an adult to buy.
One account is for one person and one page. You're responsible for what's done from your account; if you think someone has got into it, tell us.
4. Plans and prices
- Pass
- Publish your page and use it without the “Made with Destaca” footer for 90 days. Includes changes to copy and design (fair use: about 30 generations).
- Yearly
- The same as the Pass, for 12 months.
Both are a one-time payment. They don't renew automatically and there's no subscription.
The price depends on your country and you always see it before paying. Prices are final: under Section 19 UStG (the German small-business scheme) no VAT is charged.
When your Pass or Yearly plan ends, your page stays online for free, with a small “Made with Destaca” footer. You can still correct your basic details and the copy, but not generate new copy or switch designs until you buy another.
5. Payment
You pay through Stripe, with the methods it shows you at checkout. The contract is concluded when you complete the payment, and you see the confirmation at the end.
If you have a discount code, you can use it on the payment page.
6. Right of withdrawal and money-back guarantee
If you're a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of the purchase, without giving any reason.
To exercise it, write to hola@destaca.page (or by post to Vhanessa Murillo, Kaminner Str. 27, 10589 Berlin, Germany) stating clearly that you withdraw. You can use the model below, but you don't have to. It's enough to send your message before the 14 days are up.
If you withdraw, we refund everything you paid within 14 days of receiving your message, using the same payment method and at no cost to you. Your page is unpublished.
When you pay, you ask us to publish your page right away, before the period ends. Even so, we promise: if within 14 days of the purchase you decide Destaca isn't for you, we refund the full amount, without deducting the time your page was online.
Model withdrawal form: “To Vhanessa Murillo, Kaminner Str. 27, 10589 Berlin, Germany, hola@destaca.page: I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract for the provision of the following service: […]. Bought on: […]. Name: […]. Account email: […]. Date: […].”
7. Your content
Everything you upload or write (your CV, your photo, your answers and your page's copy) remains yours.
So we can provide the service, you allow us to store it, process it (including with AI), fit it to the designs and publish it at your address. This permission ends when you delete your content or your account.
You confirm that you have the right to use what you upload, especially your photo, and that what you publish doesn't infringe anyone's rights.
8. AI-written copy
The AI writes from your CV and your answers, and is built not to make anything up. It can still get things wrong. The copy is a draft: before publishing, review it and fix anything that isn't accurate.
You decide what's published and you're responsible for your page being true. We can't promise you an interview or a job.
9. What's not allowed
On Destaca you may not:
- Pretend to be another person, company or brand, or create someone else's page without their permission.
- Publish false or misleading information about your experience, education or qualifications.
- Publish illegal, hateful, sexual or violent content, or content that harms others.
- Publish other people's personal data without their permission.
- Use your page for scams, spam, phishing, dubious investments or to link to malicious software.
- Try to get around the service's limits, attack it or use it in an automated way.
Some addresses are reserved, and we may take back an address that infringes a trademark or impersonates someone.
10. Reporting content and suspensions
If you see a page on destaca.page that you believe is illegal or breaks these terms, write to hola@destaca.page with the link and the reason. We review every report and tell you what we decided.
If a page breaks the law or these terms, we may unpublish it or suspend the account. We'll tell you and explain why, unless the law prevents us or it's a serious case (a scam, for example). You can reply to that notice if you disagree. If the suspension is due to a clear breach on your part, there's no refund.
11. Availability and changes to the service
We work to keep Destaca and your page available at all times, but there may be outages for maintenance or because of our providers.
We may improve or change features. If a change takes away something you paid for while your plan lasts, we refund the proportional part.
We keep your page online for free after your plan as long as Destaca exists. If we ever change that or shut down the service, we'll email you at least 3 months in advance and give you a copy of your page.
12. Ending
You can stop using Destaca whenever you want and ask us to delete your account and your page by writing to hola@destaca.page. What you've already paid isn't refunded outside the 14-day period in section 6.
We may close an account for a serious breach of these terms (see section 10).
13. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, under the German Product Liability Act, and where we have given a guarantee.
For slight negligence we are liable only if we breach an essential contractual obligation (one without which the contract can't be performed and on whose fulfilment you rely), and only for typical, foreseeable damage. Otherwise we are not liable for slight negligence.
We are not liable for the content users publish on their pages.
14. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms we'll email you at least 30 days in advance. If you don't agree, you can delete your account before they take effect. Changes never affect a plan you've already paid for.
15. Governing law and disputes
German law applies. If you're a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live.
If a problem comes up, write to us first: almost everything gets solved that way. We are not obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board, and we don't.
These terms exist in Spanish and English. Both versions are equally valid; if they contradict each other, the Spanish one prevails.
